The Amsterdam Animal Protection organisation, a Dutch humane society, has this very creepy advert going which is designed to encourage people to not put their animals to sleep unnecessarily. It plays a very clever role reversal which has a human child being taken to a vet’s by her cat family and being put down in place of a €250 operation. It’s pretty heart-wrenching and hard core, but I feel it carries an extremely important message in a clever way.
